At this year's York Board Games Convention, we're thrilled to unveil The Forge - a dedicated space for roleplaying games (RPGs), storytelling, and immersive adventures. Whether you're a seasoned player or brand new to tabletop RPGs, The Forge is where characters come alive, dice hit the table, and unforgettable tales unfold.
🛡️ Expert Game Masters, Guaranteed Quality
We're gathering a team of experienced, vetted Game Masters (GMs) who know their stuff. These skilled storytellers will be running a collection of gorgeous indie RPGs that showcase the incredible variety of systems, alongside familiar favourites like Dungeons & Dragons and genres beyond the mainstream.

We're always looking for enthusiastic, experienced Game Masters to help us deliver incredible sessions at The Forge. If you're confident in your ability to run engaging, inclusive games and love sharing your favourite systems with new players, we'd love to hear from you.
📣 What do GMs get?
1 game (min 3 hrs) = free day ticket + £10 event credit
2 games (min 6 hrs) = weekend ticket + £20 event credit
3 games (min 9 hrs) = full event ticket + £30 event credit
4 games (min 12 hrs) = full event ticket + mug + £40 event credit
5 games (min 15 hrs) = full event ticket + mug + pin + £50 event credit

You'll be able to sign up on the day for a wide range of RPG sessions - just head to The Forge area and choose your adventure. Sessions will run throughout the weekend, with a variety of systems, time slots, and challenge levels to suit all experience levels.
