  1. Respect and Inclusivity
    1. Treat all participants with respect, kindness, and empathy.
    2. Embrace diversity and inclusivity. Discrimination, harassment, or bullying of any kind will not be tolerated.
    3. Respect the boundaries, identities, and personal space of others.
  2. Conduct
    1. Engage in fair play!
    2. Avoid disruptive behaviour that may interfere with others’ enjoyment of YBGC.
    3. Use appropriate language and behaviours in all interactions.
    4. Physical and/or verbally abusive behaviour will not be tolerated.
    5. Damage to the convention centre, exhibitor stands or the property of any attendee will not be tolerated.
  3. Consent
    1. Obtain explicit consent before engaging in physical contact or taking photographs.
    2. Respect individuals’ decisions to decline participation in activities or interactions.
  4. Safety
    1. Prioritise the safety and well-being of all participants.
    2. Report any unsafe or concerning behaviour to YBGC staff as soon as possible.
  5. Alcohol and substance use
    1. The consumption of alcohol purchased within the premises can be done so responsibly.
    2. The use any non-prescription controlled substances is strictly prohibited.
  6. Conflict resolution
    1. If conflicts arise, attempt to resolve them peacefully and respectfully.
    2. Seek assistance from YBGC staff if conflict cannot be resolved independently.
  7. Compliance
    1. Comply with all reasonable requests and instructions made by the YBGC team.
  8. Reporting violations
    1. Report any violations of the code of conduct to YBGC staf.f
    2. All reports are taken seriously and will be investigated promptly, with the aim of seeking a resolution that maintains the safety of YBGC.
  9. Enforcement
    1. Convention organisers reserve the right to take appropriate action in response to violations of the code of conduct, including but not limited to warnings, expulsion, or involvement of law enforcement if necessary.
  10. Acknowledgement
    1. By attending the YBGC, all participants acknowledge and agree to abide by this code of conduct.
